Lake Road House

Exceptional and gorgeous hotel, affable staff, appreciated the marvellous location next to Theatre by The Lake and Derwentwater itself as well as the lake. Our superior twin room was contemporary with a nice view of the hills behind. The good service and shuttle to the town centre far exceeded our expectations.

Hot and hearty breakfasts with a good choice, appreciated it.

The breakfast had plenty of options and cereal and fresh fruit were fine. Late check-out was useful.

We both enjoyed our stay, it was fab, and we will be back. Booked a room with exceptionally good views of the mountains.

This nicely appointed, spotless property has above average continental breakfasts and amazingly attentive staff. The units are exquisite, airy.

Fabulous accommodation with quiet setting just next door to the lake as well as the park and lake. We had a bright room and pleasant views. Such an excellent service too.

Everything was excellent, but we stayed for 2 nights only. The hotel was fairly clean, had very good location and food. Large room, large bathroom.

Our stay was an excellent experience. Obliging staff, beautiful location and great value. Lots of gorgeous food for takeaway breakfast. The Irish bar was superb and the drinks were fine. Besides, we wanted to visit the puzzling place, that was a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel.

Prime location, TERRIFIC staff, very comfy beds. The staff did all they can for a comfortable stay. Hotel was fairly clean. Plenty of various drinks, such as tea and coffee in the bar.

Our room was cosy with exceptionally comfortable bed, plus the location was wonderful. It was nice having armchairs and hairdryer. Breakfast was included, that was a bonus. In general the service was helpful too.

the staff were loyal; we had a self check-in. in our suite there was a panoramic view of the mountain. next to the downtown, 5 minutes on foot. also, we could easily reach hope park.

We loved our time here. Bed was great, accommodation was huge and ideal. We ordered lunch at Morrels Restaurant, located 4-6 minutes walking distance from the venue. When we came, the owner met us and was helpful.

Lovely room, comfortable bed and free parking is available for guests. We enjoyed our stay.

Rooms were good sized. Perfect position in Keswick. Easy walk to Cafe Hope, where you can have lunch. We enjoyed breakfast and location, no complains at all:)))

It was so close to the cumberland pencil museum. Marvelous location, just walking distance from everything we had planned to do. Morning meal food was excellent! Parking was provided to the guests.
